Contained in this area, we’ll speak about advantages and you will drawbacks out of extension harbors
More position versions, particularly PCI, PCIe, or AGP, provides more physical size, data transfer prices, and you will fuel conditions. It eliminates need to buy a totally the newest program, making extension harbors a payment-successful provider.
Their successor, PCI Share bus, is actually introduced inside 2003, and PCI Display bus screen practical took over as the main user interface simple. Particular industrial machines are equipped with extension harbors which can domestic longer function boards (hereinafter expansion notes). Really, that covers they to your expansion harbors you will need to know on the CompTIA exam. During the time it video clips was made, most motherboards in the industry involve some type 12 ports and you may specific adaptation 2 slots. Reflection is largely when the signal bounces right back on the where they originated from.
